The Walther WMP is a full sized, optic ready, single action rimfire pistol chambered in 22WMR. The WMP was designed to surpass typical 22 caliber pistols in performance and capacity to create a firearm that is perfect for the trail, around the farm, or at the range. This lightweight, hammer fired pistol is optic ready and comes with optic mounting plates for RMR, Shield, Docter, and Vortex Venom along with fiber optic front and serrated notch rear sights for fast and accurate target acquisition right out of the box. Optic mounting plates for RMR, Shield, Docter, and Vortex Venom are included. The WMP's most unique feature is the Quad Release patented ambidextrous reloading mechanism which includes both ambi paddle and ambi button releases to aid magazine changes. Combined with superior grip ergonomics, front and rear slide serrations, easy field strip capabilities, and button assisted 15 round magazines, the WMP is as easy to operate as it is to shoot. 22 WMR offers longer range, increased velocity, flatter trajectory and greater impact than 22LR making it a better choice for varmint hunting, defense against small predators and longer range plinking.
