The CZ 75 D PCR Compact is a reduced weight, aluminum framed version of the standard CZ 75 Compact. This PCR (Police Czech Republic) version was designed for law enforcement use and is equipped with a de-cocker to be carried with a round in the chamber in double action mode. The long, heavy pull of the double action mode trigger is meant to reduce the chance of an accidental discharge with a light crisp single action available for follow up shots or by manually cocking the hammer. Like all CZ 75s, the PCR Compact uses a slide within frame design for less reciprocal weight and a low bore axis. The low bore axis of the CZ 75 results in less felt recoil and faster follow on shots. The 75 D comes with snag resistant 3-Dot photo-luminescent sights. The PCR compact forgoes an accessory rail for a cleaner, more concealable, snag resistant shape. The CZ 75 D PCR includes rubber grip panels, serrated front and back straps for improved handling and a loaded chamber indicator.
