The Glock 49 MOS combines the longer barrel and slide of the G17 with the frame of the G19 along with many of the features and advancements of Glock's Gen5 handguns. The G49 MOS (Modular Optic System) features an optic cut just forward of the rear sight for your choice of red dot optic, leaving the rear sight in place for versatility and co-witness possibilities. This pistol features enhanced ergonomics with a deep undercut to the trigger guard and slight beavertail for a high grip that improves control, reduces muzzle flip and helps prevent slide bite. Gen5 features include the improved Marksman barrel, front slide serrations, ambi slide release, flared magwell, and improved mag release. Utilizing the engineering Glock developed for its military pistol (G19X), combined with Operator and worldwide Law Enforcement specifications, Glock has designed a well balanced pistol which combines reliability, safety, simplicity, and accuracy neatly packaged in a compact, lightweight polymer frame.
