HK’s legendary cold hammer forged 5” barrel uses a polygonal bore profile for an expected service life of over 90,000 rounds and in combination with the highly regarded HKVP Precision Strike Trigger delivers exceptional accuracy thanks to a single action short smooth take-up, crisp break at 5.6lbs, and short, positive re-set. Unique to HK, the completely adjustable VP Grip with interchangeable backstraps and side panels allow you to tailor the grip of your VP9 to the exact shape of your hand. HK’s advanced ergonomics continue with a reversible button style magazine release, ambidextrous slide release, front and rear cocking serrations and charging supports at the rear of the slide to make the operation of the VP9 easy and natural. The VP9L-B OR slide features lightening cuts and comes with dovetailed black rear and (non-radioactive) luminescent front sights and an optics cut for your choice of red dot adapter. A full sized picatinny rail is ready for your choice of weapon light or laser. The VP9 uses a number of safety features including a drop safe firing pin safety and a trigger tab that prevents the trigger from moving to the rear unless it is depressed. A loaded chamber indicator on the extractor clearly shows the status of the firearm while a firing pin indicator at the rear shows the cocked or un-cocked status of the gun.
