The Remington 783 FDE 6.5Creedmoor rifle features a heavy target profile barrel combined with a dual pillar bedded stock, crossfire trigger, and detachable steel box magazine. Remington built the 783 based on more than 50 years experience to combine the most advanced, accuracy enhancing features in an all-new platform that might be the best performing production target rifle at any price. The optic ready 783 comes with a top mounted picatinny rail for your choice of optics and features the Crossfire trigger system which allows the user to adjust trigger pull from 2.5 to 5 pounds. This model comes with a 24" threaded heavy target profile barrel with a 1:8 twist and thread protector. An oversized bolt handle makes operation easy even with gloved hands while dual sling mounts provide ease of transport through the woods. The 783 includes a detachable steel magazine with a 4 round capacity (3 rounds for magnum calibers) and a steel latch for greater durability. A lightweight polymer stock with Supercell recoil pad helps mitigate the weight of the target profile barrel for those long hikes searching for game.
