This Ruger PC Carbine Talo Edition utilizes the Dead blow action that features a custom tungsten dead blow weight that shortens bolt travel and reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. The bolt is machined from heat treated, chrome-moly steel to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability. The PC Backpacker is constructed with Magpul's advanced polymer, featuring an ergonomic hand guard with M-LOK slots at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions and interchangeable cheek risers to accommodate for various sighting options. The PC Backpacker stock also features an MOE SL rubber butt-pad offering an anti-slip surface that increases impact protection and is compatible with the MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad for an additional 3/8" LOP. Using a unique locking interface that attaches the barrel assembly to the receiver, the PC Backpacker provides an efficient solution for storage during transportation while maintaining convenient assembly from the stowed position.

• Features a Magpul® PC Backpacker stock with an ergonomic handguard, optional QD sling mounting capability, integrated storage compartment in the grip, a hinged storage compartment in the stock capable of storing spare magazine, an MOE SL® non-slip rubber buttpad, and a unique locking interface to attach the barrel assembly to the receiver when being transported.

• Easy takedown enables quick separation of the barrel/forend assembly from the action for ease of transportation and storage. Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back and verifying that the rifle is unloaded, pushing a recessed lever, twisting the subassemblies and pulling them apart.
