The Sig Sauer MCX-Spear LT chambered in 5.56 Nato is the latest iteration of the groundbreaking MCX platform. Developed through extensive testing to meet military requirements. The MCX Spear is optimized for suppressors with a gas piston operating system that prevents excess gas from fouling the chamber and features a SIG QD suppressor ready flash hider. Based on the MCX Virtus, the MCX-SPEAR LT has a lightened handguard with with increased rigidity and a lightened profile barrel with improved accuracy. Improved ergonomics include fully ambidextrous controls including a new bolt catch/release that aids the clearing of malfunctions without breaking your firing grip. A minimalist folding stock aids in compact storage and portability while allowing the weapon to be fired in the folded position. The MCX-Spear comes with an excellent SIG flatblade match trigger but AR trigger compatibility allows the replacement with the aftermarket trigger of your choice. The MCX-Spear LT, sets a new standard for reliable, modular weapons technology with lighter weight, improved ergonomics and compatibility.
