The 1911 Duty Rail is built on a forged frame and slide for durability with Colt Series 70 Based Internals, a lowered and flared ejection port, flat mainspring housing, skeletonized trigger & hammer and extended beavertail grip safety. A cold hammer forged barrel ensures accuracy and longevity. Front and rear slide serrations and an ambidextrous thumb safety ensure positive control of the firearm. Duty models are well suited for home defense or range use or for anyone who might prefer a full size pistol thanks to the infusion of modern features combined with the timeless shootability of a classic 1911.
