Safety Features

Second, the Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) Action Trigger System means that active placement of the trigger finger on the trigger, and positive grip to disengage the back-strap safety, must BOTH be implemented for the weapon to be fired. There is also a Loaded Chamber Indicator and Striker Status Indicator, letting the shooter know exactly what Condition the firearm is in.  All of these features are designed to not only make the firearm more safe, but also provide confidence to the shooter.

A side effect to all these features is that since it forces the shooter to hold the firearm the correct way, it will theoretically cause them to actually be more accurate and consistent in their shot placement. Having a high and firm pistol grip not only disengages the safety, but lowers the center of gravity of the firearm, reducing felt recoil, and implementing accurate shots.
