Back by popular demand is the Walther PPQ Classic! Actually, it wasn’t ever truly discontinued. Originally dubbed the "M1", Walther decided to limit US import quantities after the introduction of their new M2.
Only one simple thing, the magazine release. The new Walther Classic implements an ambidextrous European-style magazine release, while the M2 has the traditional (and reversible) button release. Having the Euro-style “paddle” design means that shooters can manipulate the Walther PPQ Classic with ease even if they are shooting from off-hand positions.
If you have never felt the PPQ Classic in your hand, right away you will notice that it has a truly ergonomically comfortable grip. The finger-grooves on both sides of the pistol grip allow for more surface area for you to hold on to, and the unique texture on both the grip and modular backstraps provides a solid feeling of control. This striker-fired pistol comes stock from the factory with a 5.6 lb. competition-grade trigger that “Classic” M1 followers have come to recognize and love. It still comes with the traditional 3-Dot sights that are exceptional for rapid target acquisition, a picatinny rail system to mount a light or laser to, and the distinctive Walther-styling slide with side grooves for that non-slip slide operation. Weighing in at 24.5 oz. it is capable of holding 15+1 9mm rounds - ideal in any situation. To finish it off, Walther has coated it "Tenifer" coating on the slide and barrel to withstand corrosion and rust. Click here for a more detailed list of specifications.
