Glaser

Glaser is a firearms ammunition manufacturer. The Glaser company was founded by Armin Glaser in 1975 at the same time they developed the Glaser Safety Slug with the help of Cor-Bon to produce. The original was a hand made hollow point filled with No.12 birdshot with a flat polymer cap. Later designs included the use of a polymer tipped round ball that improved ballistics which happened around 1987. and in 1994 the polymer was changed to improve the fragmentation. The company manufactures bullets in a range of calibers to include .25 to .45 for handguns and .223 to.30-06 for rifles. Each caliber comes in two variants, blue and silver. The silver version has more penetrative power with its use of No.6 birdshot. The claim to fame for this round is the characteristics it imbues by creating deep wounds however not penetrating structural barriers like drywall and sheet metal.
