SCCY is a manufacturer of firearms and accessories. SCCY Firearms was founded in 2003 by Joe Roebuck. Back in 1998, Roebuck noticed a increasing demand for a safe, reliable, and affordable firearms as states began loosing up restrictions and creating legislation for concealed carry. Roebuck with his 40 plus years of experience in manufacturing, went out and utilized his skill as a mechanical engineer and tool & die maker to design the CPX line of 9mm handguns. From there, the company has expanded its line of CPX series to include different finishes, color frames, and features to include the addition of red dot sights. The CPX is a double action only (DAO) hammer fired, polymer compact pistol that carries 10 rounds in the magazine. The company continues to innovate and come up with newer designs, the latest offering is the DVG-1 which is now a striker fired model rather than the previous models.
