Seecamp
Seecamp is a manufacturer of miniaturized pocket pistols. The company was founded in 1973 by Ludwig Wilhelm Seecamp. Seecamp trained as a gunsmith in pre World War II Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1959. Now in the states, he worked as a gun designer for O.F. Mossberg. Fast forward to the 1970's and Seecamp began to specialize in creating miniature pistols. Seecamp created a patented spring system that is currently in use with almost every locked breech miniature semi auto handgun. In 1981 Seecamp finally began manufacturing their own pistol called the LWS-25. The design of the Seecamp pistols are a double action only(DAO), hammer fired pistol. The original model LWS-25 was chambered in .25 ACP and was produced from 1981-1985, where it was later discontinued for their second model LWS-32 in .32 ACP. In 1999 the company unveiled their third model chambered in .380 ACP and is the same size as the LWS-32. The pistols are great for concealed carry or make a great backup gun for law enforcement. If you are in the market for a small, concealable pocket pistol, then take a look at Seecamp.
