Sphinx

Sphinx is a brand name under the KRISS-USA brand that produces high quality pistols. The Sphinx brand has been around since 1876 specializing in tooling and machining. The company then went on to expand their product line and ventured into firearms manufacturing in the 1980's. Sphinx is best known for its version of a refined CZ75 pistol. The company produced the Sphinx 2000, Sphinx 3000 custom competition model, and the SDP compact. The company went out of business in 2016 but the brand is now under KRISS-USA which produces the Sphinx SDP compact and SDP Duty. The SDP line of handguns are precision crafted and every major component of the firearm is machined from billet and assembled by hand. The SDP offers grip inserts that allow the user to conform the pistol to their hand size. The pistols are offered in a variety of different finishes and are offered with threaded or standard barrels.
