The Colt Cobra 38SPL+P 2" featuring  a 6 round capacity is a new and improved version of the original model with a more sturdy, stainless steel frame, improved trigger and brass bead front sight. This beautiful double action revolver is rated for 38Spl +p to take advantage of the best modern self defense loads. Colt has made a revolver that is intended to be carried, using corrosion resistant stainless steel and a one piece, full-length underlug barrel with recessed crown that protects the ejector rod. An interchangeable bright orange fiber optic front sight and integral rear notch sight provides fast target acquisition even in low light. As with Colt's other new snake guns, the Cobra uses a V-shaped leaf spring to reduce stacking for a smooth trigger pull and clean break. Like every firearm, a carry gun needs to be safe so Colt has included a transfer bar safety that prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. The Cobra employs recoil absorbing Hogue Overmolded grips to tame hot +P rounds. The Colt Cobra is easy to shoot, easy to carry, and draws from the famous lineage that makes Colt revolvers special.
