Daniel Defense M4A1 Mil-Spec + 5.56NATO 14.5" 32+1

The Daniel Defense M4A1 Mil Spec + AR15 is built around a 14.5" Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel with a permanently attached Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor for a total barrel length of 16".  This Mil Spec + model chambered in 5.56NATO/223REM is named for its beautiful flat dark earth Cerakote finish that is contrasted by flat black controls, soft overmolded furniture and black Santoprene heat resistant rail panels. The M4A1 rifle sports a full length Picatinny rail and Picatinny forend as used by US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) with ample room for optics and accessories. The ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle is augmented by an ambi safety and standard AR controls. Internally, an M16 profile, Mil-Spec, MP tested, chrome lined bolt carrier group with a properly staked gas key ensures rock solid reliability while a heavy tungsten buffer mitigates felt recoil. This rifle is equipped with an ergonomic Daniel Defense 6 position Buttstock and Pistol Grip with Soft Touch Overmolding.

• The 14.5" cold hammer forged barrel is tipped with an extended Daniel Defense flash suppressor that has been pinned and welded for a total barrel length of 16".
• The mil-spec M16 profile bolt carrier group is MP tested, chrome lined, and for  properly staked for durability.
• Tough, heavy tungsten buffer mitigates recoil to enhance control under rapid fire.
• US Special Operations Command approved Daniel Defense M4A1 Rail Interface System (RIS) II is CNC Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.
• GRIP-N-RIP charging handle is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and Type III hard coat anodized with handles and latch CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and assembled with stainless steel roll pins.
• Six position mil-spec receiver extension is made from 7075-T6 Aluminum
• Daniel Defense buttstock is made using glass filled polymer with soft touch overmolding for a comfortable cheek weld and interchangeable butt pads, and an integral QD point.
•  Daniel Defense Pistol Grip made with glass filled polymer with soft touch overmolding that provides a secure grip even under wet conditions.
• Daniel Defense rail panels are made from Santoprene to be heat resistant to 300° F.
