Magpul ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point

The Magpul ASAP (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point) offers over 180 degrees of range of motion, allowing for true ambidextrous weapon manipulation for both left- and right-handed shooters. It replaces the standard AR15/M4 carbine stock receiver end plate, providing a tactical advantage by reducing sling snagging and making it easier to transition between the weapon and reaction-side shoulders. The ASAP is compatible with one-point slings that use snap hook attachments, such as the Magpul Paraclip and MS3 Sling GEN2. Constructed from precision cast steel with a QPQ salt bath nitrided finish, it is highly resistant to wear and corrosion. The ASAP features a durable welded-link ring and is compatible with both Mil-Spec and Commercial-Spec carbine receiver extensions (buffer tubes).

NOTE: When the Castle Nut is properly torqued, staking is not required. However, if staking is desired, it is strongly recommended that it be done by a certified armorer or competent gunsmith. The extremely hard surface of the ASAP increases the difficulty of staking and the likelihood of damage during the procedure.
