The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical Silencer Shop Gray Edition is a semi auto 22LR rimfire pistol that's great for target practice and plinking at the range. Back in 1949, The Ruger Mark I was introduced that was semi based off of the Japanese Nambu pistol from World War II. Bill Ruger wanted to create a new type of pistol that utilized a tubular receiver, no slide, that uses a bolt and is blowback operated. Since its inception the Ruger Mark series has sold millions of Mark series to include Mark II, Mark III, and now the latest iteration the Mark IV. Ruger has improved their classic Mark series with the introduction of the Mark IV. What's unique about the new Mark IV series of pistols is the inclusion of a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning.

The button is recessed in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. This little addition makes the disassembly process much easier than previous models. This model is a Silencer Shop Exclusive and features a Cerakote Gray finish with a Gray Cerakote polymer frame and grip with a 3" Threaded Barrel. The Mark IV comes with a top mounted picatinny rail for mounting a wide variety of optics.
