The Springfield Armory 1911 Emissary Black Vault is a representative/sample firearm previously used as a trade-show display. Chambered in .45 ACP with a Government-length 5″ barrel, it blends refined styling with practical defensive enhancements to deliver performance that matches its striking appearance. Finished in an all-black Cerakote, the Emissary features a Tri-Top slide with forward lightening grooves and a flattened, serrated top strap that cuts glare in bright conditions. The slide’s 40 LPI flat-top serrations work in tandem with a heavy bull barrel engineered for superior accuracy and reduced muzzle rise. A forged slide and frame with an integrated Picatinny rail offer accessory versatility while maintaining clean, modern lines.

For fast, reliable sighting in any light, the pistol uses Springfield Armory’s U-Dot system a tritium/luminescent front paired with a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear for intuitive target acquisition day or night. The frame is fully wrapped in a grenade-pattern texture for a secure grip in challenging conditions, complemented by slim VZ G10 grips and matching texturing on the mainspring housing and front strap.
