The Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin EMP Vault is a representative/sample firearm produced for trade-show display. Chambered in 9mm, it blends the popular attributes of the Ronin series with the patented CCW-focused enhancements that made the Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP) one of the smallest 1911s in the world. Engineered specifically around the 9mm cartridge, the EMP design provides a reduced-circumference frame for improved ergonomics and exceptionally compact dimensions. With its 4" barrel and 10+1 capacity, the Ronin EMP offers an ideal balance of size and shooting comfort. Unlike most compact 1911s that simply shorten the barrel and slide, the EMP also shortens the frame and action.

This redesign results in 11 proprietary parts including the frame, slide, firing pin, firing pin spring, extractor, ejector, trigger, plunger tube, plunger tube assembly, grips, and magazine distinguishing it from a standard 1911. The result is a reduced grip radius that enhances both comfort and concealability. The 4" Ronin EMP features a forged stainless-steel, bushingless bull barrel, providing exceptional strength, rigidity, and accuracy in a compact package.
