Careful optimization of the frame-to-slide-to-trigger-guard geometry gives the 911 handling characteristics uncommon in pocket pistols, it points and shoots with the familiarity of a full-size 1911 while remaining one of Springfield’s most concealable platforms. The 911 .380 features a crisp, short-reset 5-pound trigger fitted with the industry-unique Hogue® G10 trigger shoe, delivering a positive, repeatable pull that encourages range time and builds confidence for defensive use.

A loaded-chamber indicator and exposed hammer provide both visual and tactile status cues and support multiple carry options. Sights and safety are built for fast, close-range defensive work: an ambidextrous safety coupled with an AmeriGlo® Pro-Glo™ green tritium front sight (inside a yellow luminescent circle) and a tactical-rack U-notch rear sight with green tritium in white luminescent circles enable rapid target acquisition. The low-profile sighting system and slim overall profile minimize snagging on the draw. Measuring just 5.5 inches long and under 4 inches tall, the 911’s smooth, slim frame tucks quietly under clothing. Springfield’s Octo-Grip™ texture on the mainspring housing and front strap gives a secure purchase without shredding clothing, and thin-line Hogue® G10 grips and mainspring housing maintain a slim carry footprint.

Performance features include a 2.7-inch precision-broached barrel that delivers solid accuracy beyond immediate confrontation distance, a full-length guide rod and flat-wire recoil spring to improve control and soften recoil, and a flush 6-round magazine for excellent capacity in a tiny package. Two configurations are also available with an integrated Viridian® green grip laser to make target acquisition nearly effortless. A 3-inch 9mm version of the 911 is offered as well, featuring a rugged nitride-coated slide and a compact Viridian® green visible laser. With 1911-inspired ergonomics, Octo-Grip™ texture, a tactical-rack rear sight, the 911 platform makes an ideal everyday carry or backup pistol, compact, quick, and built to perform when it matters.
