Springfield M1A SOCOM 16 CQB 308WIN 16.25" 10+1

The Springfield M1A SOCOM 16 CQB is a modern, upgraded, semi-automatic version of the legendary .308 battle rifle designed by John Cantius Garand. The heart of the SOCOM 16 CQB is a 16.25" 6-Groove Carbon Steel barrel with a 1:11 twist tipped with a compact, proprietary muzzle brake to reduce muzzle flip and perceived recoil. An XS tritium post front sight and rear ghost ring sight with a .135 aperture provides fast and accurate target acquisition even under low light conditions. A forward scout style Picatinny rail provides a place for magnified optics. The forward mount allows the operator to shoot with both eyes open for better situational awareness without fear of "scope bite". Three smaller forward rails provide ample room for weapon lights and other accessories. The Archangel® CQB composite chassis with AK style pistol grip features an adjustable stock for proper shooting ergonomics. The M1A SOCOM 16 CQB brings the legend of the M1A into the 21st century.
