The Colt AR15A4 pays homage to the original legendary M16 with its 20" chrome lined barrel and A2 furniture while incorporating  modern enhancements such as a Picatinny rail on the upper receiver and modern internal components such as an M4 feed ramp for reliability. The AR15A4's government profile barrel features a modern 1:7 twist for maximum performance with popular 5.56NATO and 223Rem ammunition. A flat top Picatinny upper receiver comes with a removable carry handle and A2 rear sight giving the operator the option of using their choice of optics or the included A2 front and rear sights. The AR15A4 features A2 furniture including a fixed length stock with internal storage compartment and front & rear sling mounts. The AR15A4 combines the classic look of the original M16 with modern technology and components to create a rifle that performs as good as it looks.
