The Performance Center Model 442 combines PC tuned action with Crimson Trace LG-105 Red Lasergrips for fast target acquisition and extreme accuracy.  Housing a stainless steel barrel and  cylinder for durability and strength, the double action only Model 442 is always ready for use. Designed for concealed carry with a snag free internal hammer and heavier, accident resistant double action trigger the 442 is always ready for action. Low profile black ramp front and fixed rear sights provide a snag resistant conventional sight picture. Light weight is no excuse for reduced performance so Smith & Wesson built the Performance Center Model 442  to handle continuous use of 38 Special +P ammunition.
