The S&W M&P40 Shield chambered in 40S&W with 3.1" barrel, Hi Viz sights and thumb safety is an outstanding choice for concealed carry. Smith & Wesson took the power and features of full sized M&P pistols and put them into a slim, lightweight pistol the size of your hand. This slim polymer framed, single stack, striker fired pistol has a 3.1” stainless steel barrel, an overall length of 6.1” and weighs just 20.6oz empty making it perfect for concealed carry. The Shield incorporates a tactile and clearly visible  loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide for increased safety. The trigger is smooth, with a light take-up and crisp break. Trigger re-set is short, tactile and audible. The M&P40 Shield features Hi-Vis fiber optic sights for fast and easy target acquisition even in low light and uses a patented system to break the firearm down for cleaning without pulling the trigger. One 6 round flush fit and one 7 round extended magazine are included.
